Hello everyone. First time joining a group like this but I have questions that probably everyone asks, if I can find the answers in search then I'll save you the trouble but in any case, I appreciate the knowledge that a lot of you guys probably have.
LT60 - 42" rotted out deck and cracked oil pan. Was cutting great even though the deck had holes, with patches riveted on but then i cracked the pan going up the ditch at an angle. It's been sitting while I search for a deck and pan that I can afford. My uncle gave it to me about 10 or so years ago, it just needed the carb cleaned and gas drained when I got it. The hood of course was all broken but that's cosmetic. Loved using this mower it was like a cadillac.
STX 30 - It was my grandfathers and since I cut his grass it was passed onto me. From time to time I'll sort the gremlins and run it around the yard. Runs like a champ.
Craftsman L1000 - Such a troublesome mower but still does the job. Drive belt slips, I keep the back plate off so that I can reach down and put the belt back on. I need to correctly adjust the brake linkage I think, or put an idler pully on it somewhere. Pops off when I stop too qucikly. It's hard to change gears with a new belt.
