Hello my Name is gulli. I am from germany.

I have order a old john deere lr135 from 2005 .


The mower was in Not good condition and IT stood for 8 jears dry in a Garage.


I make everything Öl velve sparking air Filter and patrol Filter.


I habe one Probleme.

The mower run perfekt but sometimes it Makes Bluff.

I habe a Video on you tube .


Perhaps maybee can help me for Information

Do you have a way to write this request in German and then use a translator program? You wording is a little confusing.
 
Hi, my name is Gulli.

I got an old John Deere LR135.
It had been sitting idle in a dry spot for 8 years.

I performed a full service:
oil change, valve adjustment, fuel filter, and air filter.

It runs great and starts well, but sometimes it makes a "puffing" sound.

You can hear it in the video starting around the 10-second mark.

What could be causing that?

The font (letter size) of your reply came across very small, but I could read it.

The most common thing needed on that age of engine is a valve clearance adjustment. There should be videos in your native language online. Double check your previous valve adjustment attempt.

This is a Briggs and Stratton single overhead valve engine, so check into service information for that. John Deere installs these engines on many riders along with other companies.

There are numbers stamped into the valve cover to identify which engine you have, and someone here may have a service manual link that can help you.

The other possibility is that the muffler has rusted a hole in it and you can hear the exhaust a little more.
 
That sounds like popping back into the intake which likely means the intake valve adjustment is too tight or it has a problem with the valve seat in the head.

In some situations, it could mean a worn-down cam lobe.

On the next weekend i make the head up and i Look to the valve.

Maybe IT is durty and i clean the valve.
 
Sounds like it is sneezing...I had one once doing this.

Check the intake to cylinder gasket and o-ring.
 
I finally received information from Briggs & Stratton today.

Intake valve: 0.10
Exhaust valve: 0.15

I had previously set the valves to 0.15 and 0.25.

I’m going to check and readjust them today.
It’s difficult to find information on this engine here in Germany.
