I replaced my belt about 6 months ago. I know one spindle is bad but it's not horrible.... I already stretched this belt out to where it won't engage. What could be causing it?

You likely have Not stretched the belt, (v-belts break before they stretch)... It is most likely worn narrow and sets deeper into the groove... If any of your pulleys are rough or if a spindle is dragging, that can shorten the belt life... :smile:KennyV

So the spindle being out could cause it to lower the belt life? Are pulleys expensive?

Pulleys are not necessarily expensive, depends on the size and aplication... But, if you have a damaged one, it will continue to eat up belts...
If you have a bad deck spindle, you may as well replace it during this off season. Here are a couple on eBay: John Deere Blade Spindles L100,L110,L120,L130 GY20785 | eBay
or these: Original John Deere Spindles GY20785 L100 L110 | eBay
