I have a JD L110. When I engage the mower deck, the engine stops, like its maybee loosing spark or fuel. the deck turns freely. I'm thinking fuel shutoff or magneto ground. any switches involved w/ this?

Does it also die when you release the brake pedal. If it does then check the seat switch and the related wirings and relays.
 
Problem solved. I eliminated the entire wiring harness, bypassing all the switches, & am down to a simple circuit, much better now w/o all that crap plus it saved me hrs.if not days of work trying to chase it down. now I have to incorporate the simple wiring into the key switch, & I'll be back in business.
