The mower wasn't used for over a year. Wouldn't start. I:
- Changed spark plug, air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump
- Drained and replaced gas
- Primed fuel line
- Started successfully with carb cleaner
It would sputter and start to die unless I sprayed more carb cleaner.
Now, it will turn over and start but dies after a few seconds?
Suggestions? Suspect I need to remove / clean the carb, but I'm not sure how to get that bad boy outta there...

What engine do you have? That's the emissions label in you picture, usually only of help to a goof from the EPA, If it's a Briggs and Stratton it will be stamped into the OverHeadValve cover, or around the spark plug, If a Kohler, it will be a silver tag, look for the Model and Spec number. Same goes for Kawasaki, it will be on a tag on the engine blower housing (top cover).
Start with removing the carb solenoid and checking that the plunger is retracting when energised
You will need a presses steel 1/2" or grind a cheapie down to fit between the bowl & the solenoid
Saturating with carb cleaner and manually pulling & pushing on the plunger will usually free it up
Should move quickly with a decided click.
