John Deere 316 stops as shift gear

Cranks and runs until shift lever is moved off of limit switch, then unit stops power to coil,thought it might be limit switch at seat or pto switch but both seem fine ,is there another limit switch ?

It is written in the "mower repair for Dummies " level so it is just a matter of working out which variation you have then following the exact instructions in the order given.
I wish all mower companies did this my life would be a lot easier.
The file is about 30 meg so can not be posted directly.
And yes after the engine has started, the brake, neutral , seat & PTO switches all conspire agains you.
