Dealer changed starter in 2011, got to mow twice. Then same problem. Dealer changed carburator in 2012, got to mow less than twice. Same problem. Can't afford anymore "help" from the dealer. What can I do to get this JD running like it should?

Maybe your mowers life has run its course, and has come to an end! I would suggest buying a new mower if you have the money and don't want to spend the money to fix it. But I am the person who likes new mowers, if you like older ones, I would say fix it.....somehow.
