I have an old John Deere model 112 and am having problems starting it.
Sometimes I have to press on the clutch pedal real hard to get it to start, and then suprisingly, sometimes it will start without pressing on the pedal at all.
Using common logic I believe that there must be a switch located somewhere that activates when the pedal is depressed that enables the engine to start, but I haven't been able to locate it. What I would really like to do is disable the switch so it will start without depressing the pedal, like it does sometime now, but I will be happy with finding the switch and fixing it so it works properly. If anyone has a suggestion for me, it would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, I am brand new to the forum and this is my first post.
Thanks in advance for the help.
