How do you jack up the front of your Hustler's. I had a nice lift for my previous mower but the Raptor's front wheels are too wide so I need to get a new lift or come up with some way to jack it so I can change blades and clean out the deck. What say you experts out there?

For quick jobs like regular blade exchanges use a pair of truck ramps.
They are higher than the normal car ones and have a flat surface so the casters do not get stuck between the rungs as on most cheapie ramps.
Pop a piece of carpet, fiber side down under the stands and they will rotate quite freely with the mower on them so you can swing them about 30 deg to get clean access to the blades on 3 blade decks, two blade decks are fine.
When finished lift each caster a little ( quite easy not much weight on them ) and rotate 108 degrees so it will roll strait off.
For bigger jobs it is a block & tackle swung off an overhanging RSJ.
I just manually lift mine and kick a jack stand under. Most of weight is in back so the front is not that heavy. I have used regular floor jack and then put stands under also. Have thought about getting a lift but just another thing to trip over when not in use.
Chain hoist with a lifting strap going around both front forks.

Harbor Freight has a 300# lawn mower lift on sale for $89.95. Works great..

Thanks Fan,
I bought a lift from Harbor Freight for $99 and it works great. The part the wheels sit in is adjustable so it will work with all my mowers.

Seems to me the five gallon bucket idea has a lot of room for error. I under stand working with what you have but I am not sure I would do that. I would not want to be scraping my deck or changing blades that way.
I guess, to each their own. With the majority of the mowers weight being on the rear, there's less weight on the buckets than if a regular sized adult were sitting on them. Just be sure and scotch the back fires for piece of mind.
