Parking brake must be set, PTO or blades lever to off position should work.

Yes it is but I personally telling how as I don't want to be responsible for OP or his family getting hurt or dying because of it. I even put notes in my customer files when I find these safeties bypassed so I have record of it in case one their family decides to sue me because a injury cause such.

I just bought a nice X475 from my neighbor and was wondering if there's a way to bypass the under seat cutoff switch? I like to be able to have the machine running when I'm off it. My Kubota TG1860 was easy, and required a simple jumper plug under the seat, but it doesn't appear to be quite as straightforward on the X475. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Tnx..RUT
Don't . . .

By telling the OP how to install a bypass to the seat switch does not make you personally responsible.
It is still his choice.

Try telling that to a lawyer and a judge...I have been sued because of some idiot before me did bypass a seat switch. I only got out of it by having a record of that mod was done before I got the mower and was note on the invoice for the repairs. The dang OP was trying to force me to pay for damages to his wife's new car that the mower ran into because got knock off the mower.

First of all I am not a lawn service equipment repair company so my recommendations go with a grain of salt.
If someone wants to try what ever I should post they need to make there own decision.
It sounds like you are a repair shop. If you give advice it is taken as though you are an expert. I do not meet that criteria.

Also sounds like you had a bad judge. Not a surprise as most are incompetent.

Yes I run a regular shop...And I currently got an lawyer here that has committed a class "D" felony by doing a stop payment on a check. Just waiting the local sheriff to arrest him. But of course law enforcement tends to protect their own. He decide that because I am a small shop he just run over me and I am not having it. I warranty my work and he had a problem he should contacted me but he ran a stop the very same day he got his equipment back.
