Im looking for honda 160 la carburator air filter bolts they are 6mm×86 mm fine thread can't find them anywhere but on line and its like 12 bucks for 2 bolts i can't see paying that where would be a good place to look none of the bolt stores i have tried has the right size.

If you can't find any, i've got a junk gcv160, y i still have the carb mounting screws, you can have them for shipping.. I will measure them to be 100% sure they're the correct diameter and length,
believe 86mm comes close to 3 1/2"
Anywhere that wrecks japanese cars will have barrels of bolts
Down here you buy them by the Kg at twice the scrap metal price.
6 x 0.75 is a very standard thread on nearly every imported chain saw & line trimmer for instance.
So some one like Randys used saw parts should also have boxes oft them

These are flange head screws PN 90003-ZM0-000 which appears to be have been superseded to 90003-ZM0-010 which the M6 x 85. Most likely a 1.00 mm pitch thread.
The prices you are seeing probably includes shipping so ordering from a place like Jack's @ 1.76 is a better choice sometimes on small orders. They would charge $8 shipping.
Another option is the small engine shops that have pile of used mowers and engines. Like Scrub I have a couple GCV160 in the junk pile that may have a couple of these bolt on hand. Any small shop if they are smart keep a bucket of metric bolt around. I know I save everyone that I can.
