Is this part from my mower?

I was inspecting and disassembling some parts and sharpening the blade to my 30" craftsman riding mower.

This part was found in the debris, is it part of my mower?

Might be part of the blade attachment system. Post model number of mower and we mind be able to figure it out.

Thanks, but it's too small for the blade attachment, and I already have the belleville washer and regular washer.
Widest outside diameter is 7/8" and I can't see enough detail in the manual for other washers where it might have come from, especially that particular shape.

Looks like the blade adapter insert for a generic blade. Most likely poulan blade, whereas you have a murray.

That model craftsman was made by Murray.
That looks like the washer that fits to the side discharge/mulch plug. Should be 2, 1/2" nuts or thumb screws and it should go under there.
