Alright, so here is the story.
I bought a OLD Lawnboy weedeater for my collection about 3 years ago, but never even touched it until today.
So I fix the choke which was broken, put it all together (it was in pieces), and fill it up with some fresh 32-1 2-stroke gas.
Only THEN do I notice a small sticker that says "fuel mixture instructions".
It says all the basic stuff like "don't fill me up with straight gas...... Use authentic LAWN-BOY 2-stroke oil only.....ect (all the idiot proof BS).
EXCEPT, it says something I wasn't expecting, and certantly wasn't prepared for.
It says "DO NOT use un-leaded fuel".
I'm thinking "uh-oh, I can't get that ANYWHERE anymore".
So, my question is:
Will it hurt my rare collection piece in ANY way, if I just run it with my good old 32-1 un-leaded 2-stroke gas????
Thanks in advance for your help and replies!!

It will take a long time of running before it ruins the valve seat but if it worries you they sell an additive to replace the lead and it is not all that expensive.

May be hard to find since nearly everything is built to run on no lead now days.

MY bad I see you have a 2 stroke no problem just run it.

I would be more concerned with the Carburetors not liking the ethanol in today痴 gas. I would consider treating the gas with an ethanol treatment. Here is the one we use in our shop STARTRON SEF GASOLINE ADDITIVE / 8 OZ BOTTLE Most of the lubrication comes from the oil any way.

Alright, thanks for your help.
From what I gather you are saying I should just run it as-is?

Unless you can time travel back whenever you need fuel... just use what is available... :smile:KennyV
