Just this afternoon, I went to a tire shop to have a new tire mounted on the rim or my Dixie Chopper. When the guy finally got the tire onto the rim, there was a three-inch gap between the side wall and the rim. The other guy grabbed one of those seating tools. I'd never seen one of them used before, and was startled when he opened the valve and the air blasted out. It didn't work the first time, but did the second time. I agree, it did look dangerous!
