I got a used John Deere pressure washer with a John Deere "badged" engine. It is an OHV 250cc horizontal engine with 11.5 on the cover but this is supposed to be torque and not hp. I am just about positive is an Briggs engine. Number is

150212-0126-B8.

I can't find the specs for the valve lash on the internet using this number to search. Does anyone have this info or can point me to where to find it?

Thanks in advance.

See if you can find a publish date on the repair manual and I'll look for a date on the owners manual. maybe they changed it for some reason.

Not what the repair manual says.
page 156 of the 276781 single cylinder OHV service manual shows .004-.006 for intake and .009-.011 for exhaust. Also those are the specs that are listed when doing the model search with the Dealer site. Also listed in the owners manual for that engine as @Scrubcadet10 listed.

Thanks for the replies and especially the links, which I have saved. I got into this today, both intake and exhaust were quite a bit larger than specified. I adjusted them to .005 and .010. The motor started on the first pull and seems to be running a little smoother. (Maybe my imagination though).
