Hello everyone! I am very glad to have found this forum and am hoping you can help me. After buying 2 used lawn tractors last year after purchasing a larger property that required something bigger than a push mower which is all I had used in my life to that point, both of them gave me trouble within about 3 weeks. With the town threatening to start fining me $50/day if I didn't get the grass cut, I finally broke down and purchased a new Troy-Bilt Super Bronco. I did a lot of research before doing so (since it cost more than my 20 year old vehicle when I bought it). I am very happy with its power and tiny turn radius, and its reliability so far. I got it in August of last year and used it a few times before storing it for the winter. Before using it this year, I changed the oil and filter (first time doing so with any engine, so quite proud of myself 
), topped off with fresh gas, and away we went. Well, until I ran over one of my hoses that I forgot about. The hose got pulled right under the blade and the engine immediately cut off. I can't get the hose out. It got cut, of course, but a part of it seems to be tangled under there. I can't just pull it out. The engine won't crank at all. I just purchased a mower lift so I can properly look under there and see how I can get the hose out. Here is my question: assuming I get the hose out, how will I get the mower to crank again? I get the sense that there is a safety switch that engaged to protect the mower from damage, or further damage? If I get the hose out, do you think the mower will be ok? Only the hose part got tangled, not the nozzle. Thoughts please?
