Please I really need to know the name of this part I only know it's basically the top half of the engine

Its called a cylinder assembly.

It is the bare block, a short block would have a crank, piston, rings, bottom cover, valves.

Yea I completely dissasembled the motor that's the busted part

Are there any like websites I could find an old motor of the same kind on for cheap just for parts I don't need the motor to work please I really need help we have very little money :/

what part is busted if u don't mind me asking ..:confused2: .......

The thing in the picture the side was busted when a part broke in it I need to replace that entire thing in the picture

I have very little experience and I really don't know the name of it that's why I have extensive pictures :/

its a block u are better off buying one that is running and just bolt it on and go...If u broke a piston rod it will need a new rod and piston if the crank is damaged u will need one of those the list gos on ...By the time u buy all the parts and gaskets u could have bought a complete running engine ready to go look for a running motor in a tractor someone is selling ...I don't buy any motors if i cant hear them first

nether did i lol :confused2: unless he means its missing one valve i have seen them brake a valve before

Why don't you put some pictures of the broken parts or the side that's broken. We will better be able to help you. If you just got a small hole in the side of the case it can be patched. If its just a valve that's broken it can be replaced. We have no idea what your looking for by what pictures you are showing us. If you don't know the parts names we can tell you from pictures. What you are showing us is the engine block.

Where the valves go one busted off and busted a hole into the area where the crankshaft is and that let the muffler get flooded with oil

Can u please take a better pic of the broken part in the block from what i can see in your photo right now i cant see anything broken ....There is supposed to be a small hole for the valve steam to go threw ...Me myself to save money i would buy another used motor running and bolt it on

your better off buying a complete running engine to bad your so far away i have a 13.5 I/C Briggs that runs awesome

Same here I got 12.5 that was on Craftsman 2.
