Hi everyone, I have an old MTD Yardmachines model 1J174K8081 and it has a 124802-0610-01 Briggs and Stratton engine. I recently had a spark plug lose conductivity so I replaced the plug and the same thing happened. I tested the ignition coil on 20k resistance setting and I was getting around a 6 reading on one side of the coil and the kill switch, the other side of the coil jumped around then showed it open so im guessing its bad. I need to order a new ignition coil but I cant find my model number. I took a few pictures of it removed to see if anyone can help Identify what I need. Thanks for any help.
Edit I tried to add the pictures but it says the pictures are too large.

I was able to reduce the size, its not as clear though to see the detail. There is a 9419P stamped on the plastic cover part plus a tiny B&S logo on one side with the number 9.

Before ordering parts, remove the old coil.

Clean and polish the mounting areas and the coil where it mounts. Gap the coil at 0.010" and snug the screws. Test for spark with a PET-4000 or a cheap Christmas light inline tester.

Lot of dirt on that coil. How are your cooling fins?

Cooling fins look ok, but the magnets could be worn also. I already ordered the coil so ill let you guys know if the problem is fixed after I get it.
