I hit a big chunk of asphalt that someone placed in some pretty high grass. When i hit it it bent the blade, so i ordered a new pair of blades and replaced them. But i'm still getting this horrible vibration that was there before i hit it. When i was replacing the blades i noticed that the spindle on the left hand side would have tension on it when i turned the blade manually by hand, but once it gets to a point it moves freely. The spindle of the right side moves freely all the way around. This means i must replace the left spindle, or is there something else i should look at that is causing this vibration?

The mower is a Craftsman LT4000

Yes you need to replace the spindle.
Sounds like you bent the jack shaft.
