I have a John Deere lawn mower the deck lever goes past the normal stopping point . Blades won't engage cable is working properly pulley moves but still nothing any help would be appreciated
There is a grub screw in the lever behind the dash
Yours has come loose or fallen out .
Go to JD customer support and pull out the page with the PTO lever on it .
Print it out then go down to the mower and check all is there .
