If the deck has small holes in it that are repairable by welding, and the spindles and pulleys are in good shape, consider getting it repaired instead of replaced. New deck prices are not cheap.
One of the really good things about being allowed to use swing back blades
I end up with boxes full of old dead blades to patch decks with
Being that I Oxy weld I just tack the end then forge to blades around the complex shapes tacking as I go
Then back for a full edge weld

Plus the new deck will only be the deck shell and all the parts from your current must be transaferred. And usually you will need new spindles due the screws (bolts) breaking off.
