I have a 21hp V-Twin Craftsman B&S engine - on a DYT4000, with a no-reverse issue.

Ok guys/gals...

Back again with a new DYT4000 problem, and a no-reverse
issue.

If you remember my other post, I had a squealing issue
and the mower would not go forward or backwards unless
you pulled up on clutch/break. I ended up fixing THAT
issue with new belts. (go figure)

Problem:

BUT... after putting the new belts on, I have no reverse.
Worked fine before I replaced the belts.

Reverse worked fine before I replaced the belts.
(as long as you pulled up on the clutch/break pedal)

I tried adjusting the shift linkage. Made no difference
even when I adjusted it all the way from end to end.

What else can I check guys?

How about a model number from under the seat? We’re not next to you sliding paper around and need to see the which drive system you are dealing with.
