I got 2 seat garden tractors to make one but which one

One is gt tractor with hydrostat with the lever other is a manual with 6 speed hi lo transmission. I never driven a hydrostat one.i have a hi lo one now and its great for pulling trailer

Which one should i make whole? Seems a lever hydrostat is a pain in the rear over a foot pedal one?

Hydro vs. belt drive? I would go belt drive. Much cheaper to operate and more longevity.

If you plan on doing a lot of towing, manual shifting would last longer. Mainly cutting a little towing I would go hydro.

Hydros have a finite life
Belt drives do not as the belt wears which is easy to replace
