my craftsman lawn tractor makes a very loud whining sound when moving and also doesnt move as fast as it used to. It seems like its really getting stressed when i move either forward or reverse. I added some oil to the transmission but it made the whining noise louder. It can still go up hills but who knows how long it will keep it up. Also, i tow around 2-300 pounds of equipment almost every day with the tractor.
