I am looking at two different ztr. One has a hydro gear ezt (zt220) and the other has a hydro gear zt2800. I am only mowing my lawn and not doing anything commercial with it. My yard is 3/4 of an acre and completely flat. My question is for the difference is there a big difference for that I'm going to be using it for?

You will never feel or know the difference.

Ok that's good to know I'm just so confused on what I was. It's between the 52" simplicity courier and the 60" hustler raptor sd. One has the briggs professional series and the other has the Kawasaki

Read some of the threads on here about the SD. I would not buy one but a few guys on here love them.

My neighbor has one and loves it. I was just reading that the Kawasaki and zt2800 were better components on sd. The simplicity does have a floating deck though which I am use to having. Between the two they are only $200 apart

Both the Courier 52" and the Raptor SD have 2800 hydros. The Courier has the Briggs because Simplicity is owned by Briggs. Raptor SD's are coming out with Kohlers now, they stopped using the Kawasaki engines in 2016. I almost bought the Courier, but went with the Raptor SD 54" because I like the dealer better. The Simplicity dealer did not do their own repairs. I do like the payload bed on the Courier, very good idea for otherwise wasted space on a zero turn. I would add a bed to my Raptor if I could! I think both are really nice mowers, and will serve you well.
