hydraligues on scag turf tiger

Bought a new 2015 scag turf tiger and from day one I've had issues with the hydraulics. The left lever on the left side has a softer (mushy) feel. Seems that I'm getting the same response from both sides but I find that I'm struggling to hold a straight line when stripping. I've had several older tigers in the past and never had this much trouble. Just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem with the newer scags. Seems to me both controls should feel the same. Any help would be appreciated.
