Good morning from Arizona. I'm a Motorcycle Mechanic trying to help out my neighbor. He has a Hustler 927285 (Super Z Mini). What are my options for the leaking Wheel Motor?? It's a White 791152. Are there any "cheap" versions on Amazon? Does anybody in the Phoenix area rebuild them? Just seeing if there are any options vs the $1200+ price tag that's out there. I appreciate your help and expertise. Have a great day and Thanks for looking.

Good luck! I went thru this with another Hustler.
Short version: You will need to spend the $1000-$1200 if you want an OEM replacement. You might find a cheap off brand china one but it will still be multi hundred dollars. How long will that cheaper one last?

Just cringe and pay the price.

There are seal kits but you neglected to tell how many hours on the machine? It's a good mower and worth repairing properly. Plus can you DIY this?

Surprised at the White brand (Maybe an old machine?) as all the ones I have seen are Hydro-Gear. They seem to be the main manufacturer of these Hydro's regardless of the brand of mower.

The Owner of the mower had me drop the wheel motor off at a local hydraulic motor shop. I'll update this thread with the results. Appreciate your insight.

Would be interesting to hear how rebuild goes and if leaks are good long term. Never heard of White hydros before. If leaks aren’t that bad, best option is to run it and top off oil as needed.

Me too as I never found anyone who would take the rebuild on.
That would have been better considering all the trouble we had finding the right unit.

From my understanding, White was bought out and has a new name. Attached is a pic of the nameplate on the motor. No word yet from the hydraulic shop. I'll keep you all posted.
