Have hade my Sport Zero Turn for about 4 yrs now with no problems. Change the oil and sharpen the blades each spring. Have begun having stater problems where I'll have to turn the key multiple times to engage the starter. Recently the mower will hesitate, pop and sputter. Any ideas where to start looking? I have searched for an engine manual and haven't found one, yet. I'll keep looking. In the Mean time I believe the first thing is to change the spark plugs, and it looks like the drive belt is loose.. so I'll order a replacement. Are there any other possible things that could be causing the hesitation? Thanks.

Have you changed your air filter recently? Spray the carb with some carb cleaner let it sit then start it up, SEA FOAM in the petrol is suppose to be good.

I have ordered a replacement air filter and fuel filter. I'll also clean the carb as suggested and use Sea Foam in the gas tank... probably will fix the sputtering/ popping.
Thanks for the suggestions. Will update once I have received and installed the replace parts. Thanks.

Using 100% real gas is a plus as well. And the Seafoam really works well. Been around since about 1942

PS: Look around here, somebody posted links to Kawasaki online Free manuals, there were many models to choose from for downloading & saving.
