Hustler Raptor SD Fuel Filter

I have a Raptor SD 60"/Kawasaki FR730V and want to change the fuel filter. Can someone please tell me which one of these in the photo is the fuel filter, A or B? Photo angle is looking down just behind the seat.

A is a fuel filter being used as an air filter for the fuel vent line.
B (with a hose on each side) is your active fuel filter, the bottom line should go to the fuel pickup in the center of the tank and the top part should go to the fuel pump on the side of the engine.
