I have a 52In. Raptor, the blades will not engage. I was cutting around a low area of grass, then the blades stopped spinning. I pushed the PTO switch down and then pulled it back up again to no avail. I also changed out the PTO. Is there an in-line fuse somewhere or something else causing this problem?

Manuals see service manual for wiring schematic page 7.1, also page 9.1 replacing 15 amp fuse.

Thanks for the direction and help Mark. I changed out the 15 amp fuse yesterday and the blades started spinning. I cut about an acre of my yard before the blades stopped again. I put another fuse in but, the blades did not engage again. Could there be a problem with the clutch/connector? if so how can I for proper amperage? My "Do It Yourself" project is currently stuck, please help.

You can check amperage with multi meter, you can get a decent one for $50 or quite a bit less, I got mine at Sears for $35. You can find on at auto part store, Sears, lowes, etc.
First check battery, put meter on VDC and put red on positive side and black on negative side I just did mine and I got 12.66, then start engine and re check, on mine it was 14.66 running, that shows alternator is working.
If you don't show at least 13 or more with engine running on meter you have a charging problem.
If charging is ok the go to next paragraph.

Now you need a helper, have someone sit on seat (for the safety on seat so power will go thru).
Find the wires that go to clutch, hopefully there is a plug you can take apart then put meter ends on the connectors of plug, you should not see anything on meter, now turn key switch to on (DO NOT START)
With key switch to on pull button to start blades check with meter again and it should show 12 or more on meter.
If you show 12 or more turn key off and plug wires back together. (Make sure you have a good fuse doing this)

If it is burning out fuses you need to check the wires from on off switch for blades to clutch for any worn area that will short out and burn fuse, look close at clutch as wires might be touching the spinning clutch when it is running, be sure to take key out and put in your pocket (safety 1st !)

Do this and let us know what you find.

Was the fuse you changed bad or did you just change it. That information would go a long way for a tech solving the problem via internet.
