Husqvarna Z254F: No belt tensioner?

I have 20 hours on a new Z254F mower. Last week the blades were slowing when I started to cut grass. I could not find a belt tensioner on the deck. Husqvarna Chat said there is no belt tensioner and that I had a stretched the belt. Stretched belt or not, is there no belt tensioner on this unit? I found an eye screw attached to a spring that goes to one of the pulleys; I monkeyed with that to no avail. Is it possible there really is no belt tensioner on this model?
Any help would be appreciated.

Apparently you got a hold of an idiot. Yes there is a belt tensioner on the deck. And you were adjusting the eye screw attach to the spring which attaches to the idler arm that auto tension the belt. Now that idler arm maybe binding up under the stationary idler pulley. If it is bound up no amount spring tension will overcome it.

As reference the deck belt is 1/2" wide x 152" outside circumference. So far I only find it in OEM 592951801 or Stens 266-313. So you can measure the belt to length.

Thanks! I first tried, adjusting the Y screw to create greater tension on the spring, but to no avail. If anything, it seemed more loose. I’ll play with it some more. In the meantime, I bought another belt. I have had only two riding lawnmowers in my life. The first was another Husqvarna and it was great. if I could still get parts for it, I would! Thanks again.
