Husqvarna MZ6128ZT, One blade Not turning

It is about 18 months old with about 70 hrs on it. I'm out of town at the moment and my BIL was mowing for me and sucked a plastic tarp under the left side. The engine bogged down and stopped. He cut the tarp off and it started back up fine, but when he engaged the blades, the middle and right blade turned OK but the left blade does not turn. He can turn the blade freely with his hand and it is a little stiff as normal. Looking at the IPB I don't see a shear pin anywhere so it's not obvious what to look for next. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Likely rounded off the nubs on the spindle, and boogered up the blade as well....

you will likely have to replace the blade and jackshaft...

When you get a rope or a tarp stuck in the blades it's always best to remove the blade then remove the rope and reinstall the blade. What happens is the blade becomes loose. Should not have bent the blade or messed up the hole. But could have rounded the star out on the shaft.

And if he didn't shut it down quick enough, you need a new belt...

Very true I have smoked a belt.
Around here for some insane reason people put that indoor outdoor carpet in their yards.

I sucked up a door mat once... Ya my Honda doesn't have blade stop and I didn't wanna push it back to my trailer and the mat got sucked in a good 6" away lol but that was a small mower not a deck mower. I've exploded a few trash bags with deck mowers had to remove blade clean and retorque blades

Great way to find fishing worms, etc. Old piece of carpet, on the ground for a while. Snakes too!

Thanx for the replies, looks like I have a little maintenance to do when I get home.
