The mower cranks but will not start. I've cleaned the carburetor and the fuel tank. I also removed the fuel solenoid (needle works fine). Replaced the spark plug and the air filter. Still cranks but will not start. What else can I try?

Welcome for one. Lot of great people on here.

Spray your flavor of flammable spray juice into the carb. See it she lights off for a few seconds then dies.

I have the shroud removed, and it is clear of any dirt or debris. The flywheel turns by hand when the starter is not engaged.
I'm thinking maybe the float in the carburetor or the pin. I will take it apart. Thanks, slomo, for your suggestion.

Since the shroud off disconnect the ignition kill terminal and test. I suspect a seat switch connector problem.
