Hi, I have a Husqvarna LTH 130 with a Koehler CV15s engine. Bought back in 2000 but it still runs great. I had taken out of shed and went to start it ran for bout 10 seconds then went dead. No ignition or turnover. Did some checking and found that it had a 15 amp fuse. Took that out and checked found it to be blown. Replaced with new fuse and it started right up. Changed oil, plug and blades....ordered new filter and element. It ran like new when cut grass. Next day the air filter was delivered, removed old and noticed that the chamber under air filter was filled with gasoline. Never saw that before so am trying to figure out why before I use it again.

thanks, Frank

Carburetor's float needle and/or seat is leaking.

Thanks! I’ll see about getting a rebuild kit or new carb.
I s it possible this has contaminated the oil?

Yes it is possible the oil is fuel laden. Also depending on carburetor might need to get a needle/seat kit. Many of the older Walbro carbs had replaceable seats but you get the right kit.

Thanks StarTech, appreciate the help.
I was also reading that others had issues with the fuel pump failing and dumping fuel into the crankcase.
