Morning all.I have the HU700F series w/GCV160 engine.l'd like to know if anyone has bought a belt for theirs, and where'd you get yours?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not a pro mechanic, but would a Link Belt work for your machine? They last about forever and you size it on site. They come in various widths to match 3L, 4L, 5L, etc.

Those are not designed for the environment on a mower. Before they became emergency repair belts they were used for transmitting power without vibration from a standard V belt. Almost all V belts have a "set" to them when on equipment and that causes vibration. Wood workers put these belts on their table saws. They are used in industrial applications where low vibration is needed.

Hello PGB1,

Those are handy to have for something like a broken alternator V-belt, but they are temporary at best.

I recall my mechanic uncle tried one of these years ago and he was able to get back home so he could properly repair his old truck.
