There's a single black wire (not the black one that is part of the blue kill switch wire) that's connects to the male spade terminal on the top of the of the kill switch "Z" on my 350 I know it's probably a ground wire, but where does the other end connect in order to ground? I would think connecting it to the engine would be too hot & melt the wire .
Thanks

Correct, the bolt towards the rear. The Coil mount is thick so the wire does not come into contact with the engine. Plus the cooling fan is right there as well

Usually to one ofthe coil mounting

Usually to one ofthe coil mounting bolts
My 350 has a two wire "harness". the long blue wire goes from the coil male spade to the red kill switch & the black wire goes to the coil ground bolt & is connected/soldered to that same blue wire. Now there is a short 6 inch black wire that comes off that male spade on top of the "Z" cut off. Where does that ground wire connect??
