What would be the most common cause of repeated hydro lock on this motor? Husqvarna AWD drive mower w/Briggs & Stratton 6.75 HP motor Locks up every few hours. Thanks

Check your oil level. Most common cause is fuel flowing from the tank through the carb into the cylinder then crankcase. If you find oil level high and smells like gas, you’ve found your problem. Solution, rebuild carb with new float needle and seat.

Stay off e-pray and amazon.

Order an OEM needle and seat IF cleaning yours, doesn't fix it. Try to clean yours first. Flush the fuel tank and add some new fuel line while you are at it. Get all the trash out of the fuel system prior to fixing the needle/seat.

Briggs engine, cleaning is a waste of time and effort. Replace Needle and seat.
