HRX217HYA oil type

so I have a HRX217HYA and the recommended oil is 10w-30 or 5w-30. I live in Raleigh NC and would be mowing into December and have some 05w-30 available. Any harm in using the the 05w-30. Just looking for advice. I know a quart of oil is a minor expense . Thanks for the feedback

I use 10W-30 but the mowers are put away by the first few days of December. Robert@Honda will hopefully reply to you tomorrow and give you his Honda employee opinion on this.

5w and 10w the w means winter. the lower the number the lower the temp can be. Attached it chart for the numbers.

I'd probably stick with the 10W-30 just to be consistent...this way, you can top-off and eventually change, etc. and know the oil that's in there is always the same.
