HRX217HXA Rusted Pin on Clip Director

Hi All.
I have a new to me HRX. While working to replace the Roto-Stop cable, I found the pin (see attached pic I got online) is rusted in place and I can't get it to move.
Does anyone have a suggestion to loosen it up?
I have sprayed it with WD-40 hoping it would penetrate the rust.
Just thinking ahead and want to get it freed up now before something needs repair.

Cut the pin flush with a Dremel tool, then when it is out you could apply heat and remove what's left of the pin.

Hopefully the diagram will work. That roll pin should come loose, but cutting it off will work. The diagram should help.
