Just changed original air filter yesterday, with 136.4 hours on it. I noticed some dust behind it but the filter was still relatively clean. Any ideas or advice on what to do?

It doesn't need changed, it was still clean but I got it wet when washing it. I was thinking putting a little grease around the edge of it.... Any thoughts on that?

I wouldn't think it would be necessary at all. Just make sure the filter is put in correctly and that the spongy edges are seated in the proper place.

An air filter will stop the big particles going through but wont stop the small particles.
Usually engines have a pre filter but unsure if your Honda does.

Its easy to make pre filters. I made one for my toro 1/8 sponge material cut to size you have to make sure its right size
