I have a Honda HRR216 TDA mower, 8 years old. I have had the problem of "will not roll backwards" for the last 2 years. I have read & tried all the posts. The problem is solved thanks to a Honda tech. This is the fix!!! "Turn the mower on its side AIR FILTER UP!! Look at where the drive shaft goes through the frame of the mower. Spray the shaft and bushings with WD40, work the shaft backwards by turning the wheels, this might take some time, and it worked great for me. The binding is where the shaft goes through the bushings! Give it a try. Frank
