I have a HRR2169VKA that I bought in 2015 and I have been going over it doing some overdue maintenance.

I replaced the drive belt and I will be replacing the rear drive and all 4 wheels.

Upon inspection, I realized there are no bearings on the front wheels?? Just a plastic wheel that rides on a bolt with a spring washer. What gives? I see on either side of the wheel there is a recessed area that looks like it could fit bearings perfectly, they just were not added. Other models have bearings up front.

Guess I am just surprised is all. I am thinking about trying to add bearings when I replace the wheels. I might even attempt to use the ones from the old rear wheels.

By virtue that you have been mowing with it for 7 years without problems sort of says the plain bush works fine .
It is a mower not a NASA space probe
