HRN216VKAA Transmission Spring Bracket. Where does it go?

I even bought the shop manual, and it did not address it.

I have a Honda HRN216VKAA

The self propelled feature stopped working, and when I looked underneath, I could not manually rotate the belt. It seemed to be stuck in the pulley on the transmission.
So I dropped the transmission out, and found a small chip of wood that had wedged itself between the belt and pulley, stopping the belt from moving. I removed it by disassembling the pulley and started putting things back.

But for the life of me, I cannot find where or how the transmission spring bracket goes back in. I can find no recess or hole to insert the bracket in. And the shop manual does not give a clear picture or instruction on how/where it goes. I can’t get the mower back up until I can find out how/where that bracket sits.

When ai dropped the transmission, the bracket just dropped out from somewhere.

Driving me nuts.

A picture of the bracket on a working unit at a better angle would help.

Thanks

I figured it out! If you have the same type that looks like it has 2 90 degree bends it slides into the side by the right rear wheel. I IMG_3685-min.jpegIMG_3686-min.jpeghope this helps
