Hi all! The drive shaft on the engine side keeps popping out disabling the self propelling feature. I replaced the clip which keeps the pin in place but it hasn't helped. For some reason the pin still gets forced out and the drive shaft comes out. It took a few weeks but it happened again after replacing the clip. Help for this mystery would be great appreciated.

The housing is stuffed, get a new one
Put a heavy coating of grease on it before & after assembly to stop it wearing out as fast in the future.
Avoid all of the unbranded shafts you see everywhere on the web that are trash .

Sorry.
What is the housing? Is that what is called the following at Hondas website:
22155-VD6-903
JOINT ASSY.,SUB (
which is the shaft itself?

What do you mean by "stuffed"?
Are both shafts needed to be replaced?
Is a new boot and ring also needed then?
What type of grease and what specifically gets greased?
Do you know of any good videos for this problem?

Lots of questions I know.

Thank you!
