When I use our Honda gas mower to mow the lawn (dry), grass does not sick to the periphery of the inside of the mower. But when using our Ego electric mower, the grass does adhere. This causes clumps of grass to fall on the lawn.

I've cleaned the inside and made sure it was dry, but the problem still occurs.

Is there a chemical or some other treatment to stop this?

Anything you apply won't last very long.

Is the grass dry when you use the electric mower?

Yes, but will try cutting less leaving the grass blades longer. so the vacuumed shorter pieces may adhere less.

I have read of some using PAM cooking spray on mower decks, as mentioned
earlier it's doesn't last long, might we worth a try.
Thanks

Question: any chance THE BLADE on Honda is MULCHING (contoured) DESIGN and blade on Ego is NON-MULCHING (“straight”)?

And, both blades are (really) ***sharp*** ?

Other, less likely, cause is static electricity but, saw it once with an electric that had a plastic / fiber mower deck … (in that case zip tie a dryer sheet on blade shaft, above the blade … nothing to lose (except a dryer sheet)

Check your RPMs, if it is running below 3400, adjust. Running below the clippings will not be cut or thrown out properly.

He is referring to an electric mower. One speed.
