My backyard has a lot of pocks, holes, and wide shallow dips. Before I moved in the yard was dug up for a lot of buried stuff. The grass grew back over it, but it was never smoothed out properly. Some of these dips fit your foot, and some I can lay down in, if I am slightly curled up. Other places are shallowly pocked so that its bumpy. They are all shapes and sizes.
Anyway, this might pose a problem if I want a rideon mower. Does anyone know how to smooth the yard without getting a steam roller or having to dig it up again?
Hmmm. Very interesting thread. I don't have clay like this but it does seem a useful piece of advice is to definitely stay away from rollers. Thanks for the referral!
