How to increase mower height?

I have a YTH24V48 mower. I mow the lot below my house a few times a year. It’s rocky even with my deck raised all the way up. Can I just put taller tires front and back if I don’t have a clearance issue to raise the deck? I have 20x8-8 on the back now.

Yes and No
Taller front wheels will foul on the frame when making tight turns.
Taller rear wheels will come foreward the same amount as they increase the height and may foul on the right side of the deck.
Naturally this will also put more strain on the transmission so care must be taken when starting & accelerating

With the front end turned as far as possible it shows I have around 1 1/2” of clearance. Rear looks to have over 2”.

So if I go from a 20x8 to a 22x8 will I gain 1” of ground clearance?

Yep.
Garden tractors generally have taller & wider rear wheels.
They should go strait on but you may have to fit them backwards ( vales on the inside ) and shorten the spacers to get them to fit on the shorter rear axles .
Not sure if the front axle is longer as I have never swapped front wheels.
Then to get the deck level you might need to modify the front drag link
