How many hours should I get to a full tank of fuel ?

I would guess that it depends on how many gallons or fractions there of that the tank holds:biggrin:...
& how heavy the grass is that your cutting...

How is everything in Scotland?

Seriously, I have found the smaller gasoline engines on push mowers to run out of fuel about the same time I need a break... around 1 hour, with a smallish tank, up to two hrs, with a large tank... at that time I REALLY want a rider mower... :smile:KennyV

If your 3.5 has the same 1/4 gallon (about one liter) tank as mine, and runs pretty good - you can expect no more than about 35 minutes........that's all I get, on a light day. Normally it's 15-20 minutes. I don't know the metric equivellent to 20 minutes.......:wink:

The tank is 0.5 litres, and the grass isn't very heavy. I usually cut it when it gets to about 3 inches.

According to my calculations I should get 3 hours from mine, as I filled it to the brim before the last mow, and I spent 1 hour mowing and it was down to three quarters.

Speaking of Scotland, I just bought a four pack of Scottish beer. Innis & Gunn.....'Rum Cask'. Is that really a scottish beer? Says "Product of Scotland" on the rear label....

my john deere js46 push mower 190cc briggs and 1.2qt gas tank JUST got done with a customer yard in 1 hour with a full grass tank the grass was damp and long. did the front yard 3 times and the back yard 3 times.:smile:
