How do you set up choke

I have a Tecumseh ohv155 15.5 hp engine in a Murray lawn tractor how do you set up the choke linkage and choke plate?

choke plate fits like it is in the pic, and the choke link also in other pic.

I got it to start . Know it only run fast will not slow down regardless of what I do with the throttle
