How do you know when it's time for your lawn to be aerated? My lawn just seems to be thin and "tired" looking. I've tried watering and fertilizing, by I'm wondering if the soil beneath just needs a little working.
That could very well be the case, Lucy, but I'm not sure myself when that should be done or how you tell. I think my guys do it once a year. I'm thinking spring, but I'm not certain.
